Hiroshima inspired jacket

A handmade 1 of 1 jacket,

made using recycled denim and other fabrics using traditional japanese mending techniques borro and sashiko.

The red patches on the jacket showcase the horror of hiroshima and all the lives lost whilst the patches and sashiko on the jacket represent Japan trying to mend the damages done to hiroshima. 

With the burning contrasting tha showing the damage of the bomb on japan and the ruined buildings.

I have used recycled denim jeans and jacket buttons, and have sun dyed the collar to show the buildings of hiroshima.
